SunnyBrook Meadows Therapeutic Riding is a Christ-centered organization dedicated to enhancing the lives of people with disabilities through therapeutic horseback riding and other related activities. Our mission is to provide a program that is not only beneficial but also enjoyable for children and adults with special needs. We believe that horseback riding can strengthen weak muscles, help improve self-esteem, balance, and coordination, and develop self-awareness.

Our Clients

We serve a variety of individuals of all ages with various special needs such as speech/language delayed, attention deficit disorder, cerebral palsy, mental retardation, Parkinson's disease, autism, learning disabilities, multiple sclerosis, developmental delays, hyperactivity, paraplegia, amputation, CVA/stroke, head trauma injuries, hearing and vision impairments, muscular dystrophy, Down and Williams syndromes, spina bifida, and more.

Our Horses

Our therapeutic riding program is made possible by our wonderful team of horses. Each horse is carefully selected for their gentle nature, calm demeanor, and ability to provide a smooth ride for our riders. Our horses include Ezra, Hallelujah (Hallie), Quincy, Leah, Sampson, Samuel (Sammy), and Selah. Each horse has its unique characteristics and abilities, making them suitable for riders of different ages and abilities.

Programs and Services

We offer various programs and services designed to meet the unique needs of our clients. Our therapeutic riding sessions are tailored to help individuals with special needs achieve their physical, emotional, and social goals. In addition to therapeutic riding, we also offer regular lessons for those who want to learn horseback riding in a supportive and safe environment.
