Transforming Your Business with Advanced Technology Solutions

Our Story

At Laser Impressions, we are proud to be the largest and most experienced laser engraving job shop in the Western United States. Established in 1980, we pioneered the serialization of silicon wafers for the semiconductor industry and have since expanded into medical, industrial, and aerospace laser engraving in 1984. With 13 Nd:Yag and C02 laser engravers, fully tooled to handle cylindrical parts as small as 0.001 inch in diameter to flat sheets up to 4' x 4', our laser marking and engraving services cater to single prototype lots to large-volume production runs.

Materials We Can Work With

Over the years, our expert staff has worked with a wide range of materials, including:

  • Stainless Steel
  • Titanium
  • Aluminum
  • Ceramics
  • Radel
  • Ultem
  • PEEK
  • Delrin
  • Thermoplastics
  • Many other Biomedical and Industrial Grade Materials

Our machines can also laser engrave on or through powder coated, painted, gold plated, nickel plated, chromed surfaces - as well as many other types of plating.

Our Laser Marking Process

Laser etching, laser marking, and laser engraving provide a permanent message on an in-process or finished component. We can laser etch text, serial numbers, part numbers, company logos, bar codes, QR Codes, ID matrix codes, or 2D codes on all plain, painted, anodized, or plated metal surfaces, whether they are flat sheets, curved surfaces, or cylinders. Laser engraving also produces very high-quality permanent marks on most plastic materials. A character as small as 0.010 inch and as large as 12 inches can be marked with our laser systems.

Industry-Specific Solutions

At Laser Impressions, we understand the unique requirements of different industries. For instance, our laser marking services are designed to meet the demands of the electronics industry, where laser marking is commonly used for metal etching or engraving plastic packages that house microelectronic circuits. Similarly, our laser engraving process is approved by the FDA, making it suitable for medical instruments and medical component manufacturers.

Our Capabilities

Our laser marking and engraving services are designed to cater to a wide range of applications, from single prototype lots to large-volume production runs. We have the capability, qualified laser equipment, advanced technology, and quality system to handle the most strict laser marking and engraving requirements. Whether it's for the electronics, medical, industrial, or aerospace industries, our expert staff is committed to delivering high-quality laser marking and engraving services that meet our clients' specific needs.
