Electrical Solutions for a Brighter Tomorrow
At Ignite Counseling, we believe that nature has the power to heal and transform lives. That's why we've created a unique approach to mental health counseling that incorporates the therapeutic benefits of horses. Our team of licensed therapists and equine specialists work together to provide a comprehensive and compassionate approach to mental health care.
Our Story
Ignite Counseling was founded seven years ago with a vision to provide clinically-focused therapy that incorporates horses in all aspects of mental health counseling. We recognized that traditional talk therapy often falls short in addressing the complex needs of individuals, particularly those struggling with trauma, anxiety, and depression. By incorporating horses into the therapeutic process, we've seen remarkable breakthroughs and success stories from our clients.
Our Team
Our team of licensed therapists, equine specialists, and horses work together to provide a comprehensive and compassionate approach to mental health care. Our team includes Ann Wilson, LPC, Kristina Vahe, Michelle Lannan, Jordyn McMinn, and Justin Hartline, each with their own unique expertise and passion for equine-assisted psychotherapy.
Our Services
We offer a range of services, including individual therapy, group therapy, equine-assisted psychotherapy, and EMDR therapy. Our programs are designed to help individuals, families, and groups overcome a range of challenges, including PTSD, complex trauma, OCD, anxiety, depression, addictions, and personality disorders. Our focus is on treating the whole person - body, mind, and spirit - and empowering individuals to take control of their mental health and well-being.
Our Approach
Our approach is centered around the concept of empirically-based practices that incorporate horses in all aspects of mental health counseling. We believe that the connection between humans and horses has the power to heal and transform lives. Our horses are an integral part of our team, and we prioritize their welfare and well-being above all else. We provide a safe, non-judgmental, and compassionate space for our clients to explore their emotions, confront their challenges, and discover new ways of coping and thriving.
What Our Clients Say
We've had the privilege of working with clients from all walks of life, and their testimonials speak volumes about the impact of our work. "We cannot thank you enough for how much you have helped these last months. We are truly grateful for the work she was able to do with you. You have made all the difference in the world to her. Truly life-changing. You are most certainly gifted and using your talents to love and serve those around you in a very meaningful way. We thank God for you."
