Meet Dr. Kathleen Weaver
Dr. Kathleen Weaver, a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon, has been interested in sports and fitness since childhood. She graduated from UCLA with a degree in kinesiology and went on to earn her MD from the University of California, Irvine. Dr. Weaver has completed extensive professional training, including orthopaedic surgery residency in Phoenix, AZ; fellowship in pediatric orthopaedics in Honolulu, HI; trauma fellowship in Hannover, Germany; and associate clinical professor at Texas Tech Medical School in Lubbock, TX.
Dr. Weaver's practice embraces all aspects of musculo-skeletal health, including bone and joint diseases, nutrition, wellness, fitness, sports medicine, and treatment of arthritis. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the American College of Surgeons and is a member of the American College of Sports Medicine, the Wilderness Medical Society, the International College of Surgeons, and the Orthopaedic Trauma Association. She is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.
