Our story began in 2018, when our founder, Christina Buck, decided to create a place where pets could receive the best grooming experience possible. With her extensive experience in the pet grooming industry since 2013, Christina has worked in almost every aspect of pet grooming and is passionate about providing a safe and loving environment for all pets.

Meet Our Team

Our team consists of certified pet groomers who have received formal training and have over 20 years of combined pet grooming experience. We are passionate about what we do and are committed to providing the best possible service for you and your pet.

Christina Buck - Owner

Christina is the heart and soul of Pleasantly Pampered. With a passion for pets since a young age, she has dedicated her life to providing the best possible care for your furry friends. As a member of the National Dog Groomers Association of America, International Professional Groomers, and National Cat Groomers Institute, Christina is a certified canine esthetician, pet CPR and first aid certified, and AKC S.A.F.E certified. She is also the first groomer in the Bangor, Maine area to be certified through Fear Free, a training and certification program that teaches and equips animal professionals with the tools and skills on how to modify their procedures, animal handling techniques, and facilities to help pets feel safe and comfortable while receiving the medical, training, and grooming care they need.

Ally - Salon Manager

Ally joined Pleasantly Pampered in December 2022 as an intern working under Christina. She has earned her hours and completed her grooming school certification through ABC College and has been a full-time groomer since March 2023. As of January 2024, she has taken on the role of Salon Manager. Ally has a passion for art and animals, which is expressed in her grooms and adds a special spark to our salon. She is CPR and First Aid certified.

Taylor - Pet Groomer

Taylor started in the pet grooming industry in 2019 and attended grooming academy in 2021. She has been working with animals for many years before that as well! Taylor has three pets of her own - all dogs - and are all her babies. Having grown up with them, her favorite breed is the Rottweiler, and she absolutely loves to work with them. Taylor is excited to further her grooming knowledge with dogs and cats and cannot wait to see all the pets to come.

Rhema - Pet Groomer

Rhema is one of our groomers! In 2018, Rhema entered the pet grooming industry and has been passionate about providing the best possible care for your pets ever since. She is dedicated to her work and is always looking for ways to improve her skills and knowledge.
