Our therapist, Kyla Loucks, uses a relational neuroscience approach to guide clients in identifying patterns of discomfort and no-longer-effective coping strategies. She also provides individualized mental wellness consultation and training to meet the needs of agencies and organizations.
Kyla has extensive experience working with individuals of all ages, addressing a range of concerns including anxiety, depression, addiction, and trauma-related stress. She has also presented on mental health-related topics at local schools and businesses, and has served as a board member for the Iowa Mental Health Counselors Association.

Kyla Loucks is a licensed mental health counselor and EMDR certified therapist. She holds a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Drake University. With over a decade of experience in the social services field, Kyla has worked with individuals with special needs and at-risk youth.
