Our Story

Founded on the principles of inclusivity, diversity, and community outreach, Kansas Ballet Company is a non-profit organization committed to serving a diverse population. Our story began with a vision to provide students with an opportunity to expand their personal technique and artistic expression through individualized instruction, rehearsals, and performances. Today, we are proud to be Topeka's premier ballet school, offering a range of classes, workshops, and performances that cater to students from ages 3 to adult.

Our Services

At Kansas Ballet Company, we offer a comprehensive range of ballet classes, summer camps, and academic year programs designed to cater to students of all skill levels. Our experienced faculty provides personalized instruction, guiding students through the fundamentals of ballet, tap, jazz, and other dance styles. In addition to our regular classes, we also offer specialized programs, such as Ballet Stars, which promotes academic readiness and soft skills among underserved youth across Topeka. Our Productions

Kansas Ballet Company is renowned for its annual production of The Nutcracker, performed with live musical accompaniment by the Topeka Symphony Orchestra. This dazzling holiday classic features student dancers from our academy, alongside visiting guest artists from renowned companies such as Joffrey Ballet, Boston Ballet, and Ballet West. Our productions are designed to inspire and uplift audiences, showcasing the beauty and elegance of classical ballet.
