At Layne's Family Pharmacy, we have a long history of providing exceptional pharmaceutical services to our customers. Founded in 2001 by fraternal twin brothers Keith and Kevin Layne, our comprehensive pharmacy is committed to delivering the highest quality healthcare solutions to our clients. With a team of experienced pharmacists, including Keith Layne RPh, Kevin Layne RPh, Nathan McCollum RPh, William Post RPh, and Melissa Potter RPh, our pharmacists are dedicated to providing personalized care and attention to every patient.
Services
Our pharmacy offers a wide range of services, including pharmacy compounding, long-term care, mobile apps, and much more. With our state-of-the-art compounding lab, we are able to produce unique dosage forms of medications tailored to our patients' specific needs and preferences. In addition, our pharmacy offers long-term care services for assisted living facilities, group homes, nursing homes, family care homes, and continuing care retirement communities through our sister company, LayneCare.
Pharmacy Services
Our pharmacy services include advanced medication management, medication adherence programs, immunizations, and travel vaccinations. We also offer private consultation services, medication therapy management, and synchronization of medications. Our delivery service runs twice daily Monday through Friday and once on Saturday, with same-day delivery available upon request.
Long Term Care
LayneCare is our sister company that provides dedicated pharmacy services to long-term care facilities across North Carolina. We offer a comprehensive range of services, including compounding, medication management, and logistics, tailored to the specific needs of each facility.
Health and Wellness
Our Health and Wellness section features articles on various health topics, including seasonal affective disorder, proper nutrition, and stress management. We believe that knowledge is power, and we strive to educate our patients on healthy habits and lifestyle changes that can improve their overall well-being.
Compounding Services
As an experienced compounding pharmacy, we offer a range of customized medication solutions, including pediatric pain-management medications, dental wound care products, and urology products. Our skilled pharmacists work closely with patients and healthcare professionals to create personalized medications that meet the unique needs of each individual.
Mobile App
Our mobile app, "PocketRx, " allows patients to refill their prescriptions with ease, receive medication reminders, and access health news and information. With our mobile app, managing your medications has never been easier.
Customer Service Issues
Several reviewers expressed frustration with the customer service they received at Layne's Pharmacy. Sara Cobb gave a 2-star review, stating that she found it difficult to get answers to her questions and was told she needed prior authorization from her insurance company for a medication she had been taking for 6 months. Deidra Baker also received poor service, with her mom's supplemental drinks not being delivered as promised. Mikey had a negative experience, as he never received a call about the cost of his prescription and had to email the pharmacy, which did not respond.

On the other hand, many reviewers had positive experiences with Layne's Pharmacy. Rick Boyd gave a 5-star review, stating that the customer service was excellent and his concerns were addressed. Cheri Bray highly recommended the pharmacy, saying that the staff always go above and beyond. Low Stock and Unprofessional Staff
A few reviewers mentioned issues with the pharmacy's stock levels and staff professionalism. Tina Gaydon gave a 2-star review, stating that the pharmacy was often out of stock on pain medication and that the staff was rude when she called to ask about a prescription.
