At West Main Veterinary Clinic, our mission is to provide compassionate and high-quality veterinary care at an affordable price. We strive to build strong relationships with our clients and their pets, ensuring that every visit is a positive experience. Our team of experienced veterinarians and veterinary technicians offers a wide range of services including vaccinations, preventative care, laser surgery, internal medicine, dentistry, physical exams, and annual check-ups. We also provide humane euthanasia, in-house bloodwork, and digital X-ray services.

Our Expertise

Our veterinarians, Dr. Brenda Ramsey-L'Amoreaux and Dr. Matthew Hoover, are dedicated to staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in veterinary medicine. They have extensive experience in various specialties, including heartworm prevention, flea and tick prevention, and surgical procedures. Our registered veterinary technicians are trained to provide top-notch care and support throughout your pet's visit.

About Our Team

Our team is committed to providing exceptional care. Dr. Ramsey-L'Amoreaux, a lifelong resident of Louisville, has been practicing veterinary medicine since 1998. Dr. Hoover, a graduate of Lincoln Memorial University College of Veterinary Medicine, brings a wealth of knowledge and experience from his farm background. Our registered veterinary technician, Kayleigh Pritchard, is the Head RVT and has been with us since 2005. She oversees the technical aspects of our clinic and ensures that every patient receives the best care possible.

Our Commitment to Community

We are deeply committed to our community and strive to make a positive impact through various initiatives. Dr. Ramsey-L'Amoreaux is an active member of the Louisville School Board and participates in dairy judging team coaching. Dr. Hoover is involved in antique tractor collecting and operates a custom hay business. Kayleigh is an advocate for animal rescue and has rescued several cats from our clinic.
