Our Story

Simon Miller Paper & Packaging was founded in 1926 by Simon Miller as a distributor of Kraft and wrapping tissue paper. After World War II, the company expanded its reach into printing and converting paper. We recognized the demand for master rolls for envelope, tablet, and forms manufacturers, while developing new sources of supply throughout North America. In the latter part of the 20th century, we began searching for additional sourcing options by importing from overseas. After the turn of the century, we decided to change our company name to Simon Miller Paper & Packaging to reflect a broader focus on industrial and packaging customers. Today, we are proud to be one of the oldest continuously operating paper distributors in North America.

Innovation

We have developed new paper grades, sourced lightweight barrier coatings, identified lower-cost alternatives, and created efficient inventory management programs.

Leadership Team

Our leadership team is comprised of experienced professionals who have a deep understanding of the paper and packaging industry. Our team includes:

• Henri C. Levit, Chairman: A chemical engineer and the 3rd generation of the company, Henri has over 40 years of experience in the industry. He is a graduate of Drexel University and has received numerous awards for his contributions to the paper industry.
• Jeffrey Levit, President & CEO: Jeffrey is the 4th generation of the company and has over 40 years of experience in the paper industry. He holds a degree from Tulane University, New York University Stern School of Business, and IESE Business School in Barcelona.
• Steve Rosenberg, Vice President of Sales: With over 45 years of experience in the paper industry, Steve has worked at both the mill and converting level in roles encompassing sales and marketing, product development, general management, operations, and R&D. He holds an undergraduate degree in Forest Products Marketing from the University of Minnesota and an MBA from Georgia State University.
• Elena Zapico, Director of Strategy: Elena leads the alignment and execution of the strategic vision of the company. She holds a PhD in Humanities from the University of Salamanca, Spain, and received formal training at Harvard University in cognitive psychology applied to organizational transformation.
