At Lengua Rica, we are a family-owned and operated business dedicated to providing high-quality Spanish language instruction, translation, and interpretation services to the Washington State community. With over 25 years of experience, we have built a reputation for excellence and a passion for fostering understanding and communication between cultures.

Our Story

Our founder, Ethan Rogol, a native English speaker, is fluent in Spanish and has a deep understanding of the language and culture. He has spent many years studying and living in Costa Rica, where he developed a passion for the Spanish language and a desire to share it with others. With a strong educational background in education and a certificate in Teaching English as a Second Language, Ethan has taught Spanish as a Foreign Language with Lengua Rica since 1997 and has also taught at The Evergreen State College and South Puget Sound Community College. He has also worked as an interpreter and translator for various institutions, including medical, legal, and social services.

Translation and Interpretation: We provide accurate and professional interpretation and translation services for a variety of contexts, including legal, medical, and social services. Our translators and interpreters are certified by the Washington State Department of Social and Health Services' Language Interpretation Services and Translations.

Language Classes: We offer flexible and engaging language classes for individuals, from beginners to advanced learners. Our classes are designed to promote genuine communication and interaction, using authentic materials and activities to address a variety of learning styles. We cater to students of all levels, from beginners to advanced learners, and offer virtual and hybrid classes for convenience.

Private Classes: We offer private classes tailored to individual needs and preferences. Our experienced instructors can help you improve your language skills, prepare for exams, or achieve specific goals.

Friday Lunch Hour Drop-in Conversation: Join our weekly conversation practice, where you can chat with native speakers, practice your language skills, and learn from others.
