We are Vista Dermatology, a dermatology practice founded by Dr. Karla N. Muoz, MD, FAAD, dedicated to providing the highest-quality skin care to patients in the San Antonio and Boerne areas. Dr. Muoz has been in private practice for the past twelve years and brings extensive training from Harvard Medical School, a Howard Hughes Medical Institute research fellowship in metastatic melanoma, and a dermatology residency at Stanford University where she served as chief resident. She earned her undergraduate degree in molecular, cell and developmental biology from UCLA with highest honors and was born and raised in San Diego before making San Antonio her home for several years.Prior to establishing Vista Dermatology, Dr. Muoz practiced in Northwest San Antonio, Alamo Heights, New York City, and Northern California, gaining broad experience in medical, surgical, cosmetic, and pediatric dermatology. Her professional interests focus on skin cancer, complex medical dermatology, and cosmetic procedures, always aiming for naturallooking, refreshed results while treating every patient with respect and dignity. She is married to an interventional cardiologist in San Antonio and enjoys spending time with their two energetic sons. Our modern office in Boerne, located at 27511 IH10 W, Bldg 2, features soothing colors and a relaxing setting, and we accept numerous health insurance plans while offering a patient portal for convenient communication.
