Lake Arrowhead Yacht Club

The Lake Arrowhead Yacht Club is a private club nestled in the San Bernardino Mountains, offering a serene escape from the bustle of city life. Founded in 1932, our club has been in continuous operation for over 90 years, providing a haven for sailing enthusiasts and their families. Our mission is to instill and enhance an interest in yachting and the spirit of sportsmanship amongst our members and their families, while providing a venue for competition, socialization, and enjoyment.

Our History

The Lake Arrowhead Yacht Club was organized as a nonprofit corporation on October 3, 1932, by a group of visionary men with a common interest in yachting at Lake Arrowhead. Their desire was to provide a venue for competition and sportsmanship, and for members to participate in regional, national, and international yachting events. Today, we continue to uphold the high ideals originally set by our founders, providing an active yacht racing program for members of all ages that enhances the reputation of our Club as a center of racing at Lake Arrowhead and in the greater yachting community.

Our Services

We offer a range of services and activities for our members, including yacht racing, sailing instructions, regattas, and social events. Our sailing program is designed for members of all ages and skill levels, with classes and training sessions available for those looking to improve their skills. We also offer a Junior Associate sailing membership for young people aged 10-20, providing them with the opportunity to participate in our instructional sailing classes and race program.

In addition to our sailing activities, our clubhouse is open on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, offering a range of amenities, including a bar, snack bar, patio dining, and dining room service. We also host a number of themed parties and a Thursday night Fine Dining experience, providing a social hub for our members and their families.
