Who We Are

Mountain Valley Lutheran Church exists to praise and glorify God by sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ with our community and by nurturing one another through Word and Sacrament. We are a welcoming community of believers who are passionate about encountering God in worship, learning from his Word, and serving others.

Our Mission

Our mission is to:

• Share the Gospel: We share the good news of Jesus Christ with everyone in our community, inviting them to experience his love and forgiveness.
• Nurture Believers: We provide opportunities for spiritual growth through Bible studies, fellowship groups, and outreach programs.
• Serve the Community: We actively serve our community through outreach programs and volunteering our time and resources.

Our Beliefs

We believe:

• In the triune nature of God - one God in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
• In the authority and trustworthiness of the Bible as the inspired Word of God.
• In the salvation of Jesus Christ, God's son, who died on the cross and rose from the dead for our redemption.
• In the need for forgiveness and grace, and God's unconditional love for all people.

Worship and Community

Our Sunday worship service offers a blend of traditional and contemporary expressions of faith. We celebrate God through music, prayer, scripture reading, and a thoughtful sermon. We believe worship should be both inspiring and transformative.

After the service, we invite you to join us for refreshments and fellowship in the lower level. We would love to get to know you and connect with you on a personal level.
