Our ownership, Lloyd Beal, is a father of four and understands the importance of trusting a childcare provider with your child's well-being. Lloyd and his mother, Cherry, founded Active Learning Center in 1999 with the vision of creating a family-oriented environment that fosters strong relationships between staff, children, and families.

Our History

Established in November 1999, Active Learning Center has grown to become the South Metro's most trusted and sought-after licensed daycare and preschool centers. With a team of experienced, loving, and dedicated teachers and employees, we take pride in our ability to provide high-quality early childhood education and development programs. Many of our employees have been with us since the beginning, ensuring that our team is committed to the center and its families.

Our Philosophy

Our Services

We offer a range of services, including:

• Infant Program: Designed for children from 6 weeks to 18 months, our infant program focuses on developing social, emotional, and cognitive skills through play and exploration.
• Toddler Program: For children from 18 months to 36 months, our toddler program emphasizes socialization, language development, and gross motor skills through play-based activities.
• Preschool Program: For children from 3 to 5 years old, our preschool program focuses on developing social, emotional, and cognitive skills through play, exploration, and learning activities.
• Summer Program: Our summer program offers a fun and engaging environment for children during the summer break, with activities such as art, music, and outdoor play.
• Transportation: We offer door-to-door transportation services to and from our centers, making it convenient for families to get their children to and from childcare.
