Our Mission

At the Family Counseling Center, our mission is to provide professional, Christian-based counseling services to individuals, families, and couples in need throughout Middle Tennessee. We believe that everyone deserves access to quality mental health care, regardless of their financial situation. That's why we've never turned anyone away based on their ability to pay.

Our History

Founded in 1986, the Family Counseling Center has been a beacon of hope for those struggling with mental health issues. Our founders, driven by a passion for helping others, created an organization that would provide compassionate, non-judgmental care to those in need. Today, we continue to uphold this mission, offering a range of services designed to promote healing, growth, and wellness.

Our Services

We offer a comprehensive range of counseling services, including individual, group, and family therapy. Our licensed therapists are trained to address a wide range of issues, from anxiety and depression to trauma and relationship conflicts. We also provide specialized services, such as crisis intervention, emergency response, and suicide prevention training.

In addition to our counseling services, we offer a range of programs and resources designed to support individuals and families in need. Our Access Hope hotline provides 24/7 crisis support, while our Wellness All Around program offers a dual employer and employee assistance program that helps companies support their employees' mental health. We also have a dedicated program for first responders, providing specialized support and resources to those who serve our communities.
