Spokane Americans Youth Hockey

welcome to the Spokane Youth Hockey Association (SAYHA), a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the development of youth hockey in the Inland Northwest. Established in 1959, we have been providing opportunities for youth hockey players from ages 4 to 18 to participate in organized, competitive hockey. Our mission is to provide a fun and engaging environment for children to learn and grow as hockey players while developing their skills and building lifelong friendships.

Our Programs

We offer a range of programs designed to cater to players of all ages and skill levels. Our Learn to Play programs are designed for beginners, teaching the fundamental skills and rules of hockey. For more experienced players, we offer travel teams and leagues for 10U to 18U age groups. We are proud to offer specialty programs such as Sled Hockey, goalie clinics, and girls' clinics, as well as off-season camps and clinics.

At SAYHA, we believe that every child deserves the opportunity to play hockey, regardless of their ability or disability. We offer a range of services to support our players and families, including:

• Private Lessons: One-on-one instruction with experienced coaches and players to help improve skills and prepare for games.
• Teams & Programs: Join one of our teams or programs, designed for players of all ages and skill levels.
• Equipment & Uniforms: Everything you need to get started with hockey, from equipment to uniforms.
• Player Health and Safety: We prioritize the health and safety of our players, and provide resources and support to ensure a safe and healthy hockey experience.
• Meeting Minutes: Stay up-to-date with the latest news and announcements from our Board of Directors and committees.

Our Home Rink

We are proud to call the Spokane Arena our home rink, where we host our games, tournaments, and events. Our rink is equipped with state-of-the-art amenities and facilities, providing the perfect setting for our players to develop their skills.
