Our Story

DuCon was founded in 2007 out of a desire to provide clients and business partners with championship-level service that competes on their behalf at all times. Our founder, Ernest F. DuBose II, had a desire to provide high-quality construction services while valuing trust, morals, and relationships as much as profit margins and return on investment. We believe that you shouldn't have to sacrifice one for the other, but rather, with the right team and firms working on your behalf, you can achieve both.

Our Business Structure

DuCon, LLC is a State of Florida Limited Liability Company based in Sarasota, FL. Our firm is a State Certified General Contractor current and in good standing, qualified by its CEO, Ernest F. DuBose II. License#: CGC1517667 Additionally, we are a State Certified Minority Business Enterprise current and in good standing with the State of Florida Office of Supplier and Diversity.

Our Services

We offer a wide range of construction services, including:

• General Contracting: The General Contracting method of delivery serves as a means for DuCon to deliver simpler, "cut & dry" projects to our clients.
• Construction Management: The construction manager acts as a consultant to the owner in the development and design phases (preconstruction services), and as a general contractor during construction.
• Design-Build: DuCon as the Design-Build team - works under a single contract with the project owner to provide Design and Construction Services.
• Pre-Construction Services: The Pre-Construction stage begins when the owner enters into contract with the Construction Manager at any point of the Design Stage.
• iCon - Consulting: An a la carte service, iCon is a custom-tailored development and construction consulting service implemented by DuCon to meet the needs of a wide range of clients.
• Owner's Representation: Offers support and service during the planning, design, and construction phases.
