Mount Gilead Bible Conference

At Mt. Gilead, we believe that God's love and grace are abundant and transformative. As a Christian camp and conference center located in northern California, we strive to serve the local Christian church and share the hope found in Jesus Christ with all who visit our facilities.

Our History and Purpose

Mt. Gilead was founded in 1963 by InFaith Missionary Dwight Jungkeit. Since its inception, our core mission has been to support the local Christian church and provide a space for individuals to deepen their faith and build lasting connections with others. We believe that God's love and grace are the foundation for all that we do, and we strive to serve our guests with kindness, compassion, and joy.

Our Programs and Services

At Mt. Gilead, we offer a variety of programs and services designed to meet the needs of individuals and groups. During the summer, we host week-long camp experiences for youth from 1st to 12th grade. These camps are designed to be both fun and spiritually enriching, providing opportunities for young people to grow in their faith and build meaningful relationships with others.

In addition to our summer camps, we also offer adult programming throughout the year. This includes men's and women's retreats, as well as special day events such as Easter Sunrise Service, Gilead Day, and Grandparent's Day. These events provide opportunities for adults to step away from the hustle and bustle of daily life and focus on their faith and personal growth.

We also rent our facilities to churches and other Christian organizations, providing a beautiful and relaxing environment for retreats and other events. Our facilities include comfortable lodging options, spacious meeting rooms, delicious food service, and a variety of recreational activities. We are committed to serving our guests with excellence and providing a space where they can grow in their faith and build lasting connections with others.
