Our History

Our story began in 1922 when Albert "Bert" Cook moved to California from Zearing, Iowa, along with his wife and son, Charles "Chuck" Cook. In 1923, Bert founded Cook's Lumber and Hardware, which would eventually evolve into the premier door and window supplier it is today. Over the years, our family has been dedicated to carrying on Bert's legacy, with each generation contributing to the growth and success of the business.
