Bayside Academy, located on the Eastern Shore of Mobile Bay, has been a pioneer in providing exceptional education since its inception in 1970. Our mission is to develop the whole child and nurture ethical, moral leaders who are deeply engaged in their communities. History of Bayside Academy

Bayside Academy has been providing top-rated PK3 through Grade 12 Independent College Preparatory education for over five decades. We have always been committed to academic excellence, personal growth, and community engagement. Campus

Bayside Academy is located on the Eastern Shore of Mobile Bay, providing a serene and picturesque setting for our students. Our campus is designed to facilitate learning and interaction between students, teachers, parents, and alumni. Our facilities include state-of-the-art classrooms, science and computer labs, visual and performing arts studios, athletic fields, and a library.

Board of Trustees

Bayside Academy is governed by a dedicated Board of Trustees who are committed to ensuring the school's continued success. The Board of Trustees is responsible for setting the strategic direction of the school, overseeing its finances, and ensuring that the school's mission is fulfilled.

Curriculum

We offer a comprehensive program that includes language arts, mathematics, science, social studies, visual and performing arts, and athletics. We also offer Advanced Placement (AP) and honors courses for students who are ready for a challenge.

Early Childhood Center

Our Early Childhood Center provides a nurturing and stimulating environment for our youngest students. We offer a play-based curriculum that promotes social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development. Our students learn through exploration, play, and interaction with their peers and teachers.

Lower School

Our Lower School provides a supportive and challenging environment for students in Grades K-5. We offer a comprehensive program that includes language arts, mathematics, science, social studies, visual and performing arts, and athletics. We also offer advanced courses for students who are ready for a challenge.

Middle School

Our Middle School provides a challenging and supportive environment for students in Grades 6-8. We offer a comprehensive program that includes language arts, mathematics, science, social studies, visual and performing arts, and athletics. We also offer advanced courses for students who are ready for a challenge.

Upper School

Our Upper School provides a challenging and supportive environment for students in Grades 9-12. We offer a comprehensive program that includes language arts, mathematics, science, social studies, visual and performing arts, and athletics. College Counseling

Our College Counseling program is designed to help students prepare for success in college and beyond. We offer comprehensive guidance and support to help students find the right college, apply for financial aid, and prepare for the college experience.

At Bayside Academy, we embrace the visual, performing, and musical arts and consider creative development an integral part of a complete academic experience. We offer a comprehensive program that includes visual arts, performing arts, and music.

Visual Arts

Our Visual Arts program provides students with opportunities to explore and express their creativity. We offer a comprehensive program that includes drawing, painting, sculpture, and photography.

Performing Arts

Our Performing Arts program provides students with opportunities to explore and express their creativity through music, drama, and dance. We offer a comprehensive program that includes instrumental and vocal music, drama, and dance.

Athletics

At Bayside Academy, we believe that athletics is an integral part of a well-rounded education. We offer a comprehensive program that includes 17 sports for students in Grades 7-12 and YDL offerings in 9 sports for students in Grades 1-6.
