At Gulf Stream Brewery & Taproom, we believe that craft beer is about pushing boundaries in an accessible way. We take pride in exploring unique styles of craft beer and crafting creative, artfully balanced, and technically sound beers for our visitors to enjoy. Our beer menu features crisp, light lagers, smooth and hoppy IPAs, fruited sours, and darker beers for every palate. Our beers have won several national and regional awards, and we now sell draft and packaged beer throughout South Florida.

Our taproom is the perfect place to bring the family when you're in Fort Lauderdale, whether they have two legs or four. We believe in working hard, playing harder, and drinking great beer with people we love. Our taproom is a great place to connect, enjoy a pint of beer, and share good times with friends and family.

Meet the Gulf Stream Team

Gulf Stream Brewery & Taproom is owned and operated by Dr. Ty Eriks and Sharee Eriks, Esq., who made Fort Lauderdale their home in 2013. Ty learned how to brew beer in dental school and turned his hobby into a passion. He nerd out on the science of beer-making, selecting the right water profile, grains, hops, and brewing salts to create "true to style" beers. Sharee, the ever-patient wife, learned to love and appreciate the beers fermenting in her bathtub, becoming the soundtrack to her law school exam study sessions.
