Promoting Psychology. Supporting Psychologists.
The Indiana Psychological Association (IPA) is a professional organization dedicated to promoting psychology and supporting psychologists in the state of Indiana. Our mission is to foster a diverse and inclusive community of psychology professionals, providing resources, education, and advocacy to enhance the practice of psychology. We strive to promote the advancement of psychology in all its forms, from research and education to clinical practice and public policy.
Services Offered
IPA offers a wide range of services to its members and the broader psychology community. These include continuing education programs, including homestudy options and live conferences, advocacy initiatives, and resources for students, licensed professionals, and those in training. We also provide opportunities for networking, mentorship, and professional development through our committees and events.
Continuing Education
One of our primary services is continuing education. We offer over 50 homestudy programs, including recordings from our annual Fall Conferences, as well as live webinars on topics relevant to psychology professionals. Our CE programs are designed to meet the needs of both IPA members and non-members, ensuring that all professionals can stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the field.
Advocacy and Support
IPA is committed to advocating for the interests of psychologists and promoting the well-being of the communities we serve. We work closely with other professional organizations and government agencies to advance policies that support the practice of psychology. Additionally, we offer resources and support for those seeking ethics consultation services and anti-racism resources.
Membership Benefits
Joining IPA comes with numerous benefits, including access to our extensive network of professionals, discounts on continuing education programs, and opportunities for mentorship and leadership development. Whether you are a student, licensed professional, or somewhere in between, IPA membership can help you grow both professionally and personally.
