B.A. Sims Engineering, Inc. is a structural and civil engineering consulting firm based in Long Beach, California. Our Services

Additionally, we provide services for industrial tank foundations, bridge construction, public art projects, civil and construction design, temporary shoring, formwork, and reshoring. We also handle grading plans, drainage plans, LID, hydrology, erosion control plans, and temporary traffic control plan reviews. Our team can also assist with slope stability analysis, general construction, value engineering, and retaining walls.

Our Team

Our team consists of experienced professionals, including President Brad Sims, a Purdue University graduate with over 25 years of experience in the construction and engineering industries. Vice President Sydney Mamaradlo, MSCE, P.E., and a team of associates and interns with expertise in structural and civil engineering. Our team's diverse background and experience ensure that we can handle a wide range of projects efficiently and effectively.

Recent Projects

Some of our recent projects include a residential timber framing project in Manhattan Beach, a skylight system project for the Hyatt Hotel in Irvine, and a cofferdam and cantilevered solid sheeting project for a new residence in Manhattan Beach. We have also completed projects such as the Southbay Montessori School drainage and grading design, the Pechanga Resort and Casino White's Landing reconstruction, and an oceanfront residence in Marina Del Rey.
