Our story began in May 1979, when David Stombaugh and his father, the late Robert C. Stombaugh, founded Stombaugh Memorial Funeral Home. Over the years, we have established a strong foundation of trust within the community.

In 1996, Brad L. Batton joined the firm as part owner, bringing with him nine years of experience as a licensed funeral director and embalmer. In 2000, we made the name change to Stombaugh-Batton Funeral Home, Inc., and in 2007, Brad and Joan Batton became the sole owners. Being family owned and operated is very important to us, and we strive to maintain the highest level of professionalism and compassion.

Our team includes Brad Batton, who is available for educational presentations on topics related to death and dying, care of the bereaved, and funerals. We also offer a complete line of monuments and markers through our company, Stombaugh Memorials. Our funeral home has been remodeled to make it completely accessible for the handicapped, and we have a family room equipped with a TV, DVD player, and refrigerator to ensure your comfort during difficult times.
