Locally owned and operated, A-1 Self Storage has been serving the Winston-Salem, Wilmington, and Jacksonville areas since 1980. We pride ourselves on offering competitive rates and easy access to our ground-level storage units. Our locations are equipped with surveillance by an onsite manager, ensuring your belongings are safe and secure. We understand the importance of value for your money, which is why we offer electronic gate access from 6am-9pm, 7 days a week. Our managers are on site Monday through Friday from 9:00am -5:30 pm, and Saturday from 8:00am-12:30pm. Sundays are reserved for rest.

Our Facilities

We have six convenient locations across the region, each offering a range of unit sizes and types. Our Jacksonville location features climate-controlled storage cubbies, while our other locations offer climate-controlled units as well. Our buildings are constructed with steel and metal, ensuring security and accessibility. All units are ground level, eliminating the need for stairs or elevators. We offer month-to-month rentals and accept most major credit cards. Additionally, we sell storage boxes and supplies at each location to help you prepare for your move.
