Our Mission

The mission of Lyric Theatre Company is to produce musicals and other performing arts of professional quality for northern New England. We offer both members and the public opportunities for learning and growth with an emphasis on volunteerism within the organization. Our goal is to provide a platform for people to come together, learn, and grow through the arts.

Our Services

At Lyric Theatre Company, we offer a wide range of services and programs for the community. Our main stage productions feature a variety of musicals and plays, from classic shows to modern hits. We also offer educational programs, including camps, workshops, and classes, for children and adults of all ages. Additionally, we provide opportunities for individuals to get involved through volunteering, membership, and corporate partnerships.

Community Programs

Our community programs are designed to make the arts accessible to everyone. We offer a variety of programs, including education and outreach programs, community events, and collaborations with local schools and organizations. Our Delano-Nulty Award and Lyric Workshops provide opportunities for individuals to learn and grow through the arts.

History

Lyric Theatre Company was founded in 1974 with a mission to produce high-quality musicals and performing arts for northern New England. Over the years, we have grown and evolved, producing over 100 shows and becoming a staple in the community. We are proud to celebrate our 50th season and look forward to many more years of bringing the arts to our community.

We follow all Vermont Department of Health guidelines regarding testing, isolation, and treatment, and ask that you refrain from entering the Lyric Creative Space or attending Lyric functions if you are experiencing any symptoms of respiratory illness.
