Our founder, Katherine, brings a distinct perspective to the field of acupuncture. With a background in art, she believes that her creative approach and ability to follow her curiosity are her greatest strengths when approaching complicated clinical problems. Our story began when Katherine decided to apply her artistic skills to the healing arts. After graduating from art school, she worked as an artist technician and studio assistant in New York City. However, it was during this time that she began to explore the world of acupuncture, recognizing the potential for art and healing to intersect.

Upon discovering the field, Katherine felt drawn to its holistic approach and the idea that the body and mind are interconnected. She saw an opportunity to use her artistic background to enhance her understanding of human anatomy and the subtleties of the human experience.
