Since 1948, the Virginia Society of Tax & Accounting Professionals (formerly known as the Accountants Society of Virginia) has been dedicated to providing rigorous educational opportunities, elevating high standards of proficiency and integrity, and promoting and protecting the interests of tax preparers, accountants, and bookkeepers across Virginia. Our mission is to satisfy the educational and professional needs of our members, elevate and maintain a high standard of proficiency and integrity among them, promote and protect their interests, and cultivate a spirit of professional cooperation among its members.
