Marshall Law, based in Paris, Tennessee, is a law firm with over 21 years of experience representing a diverse range of clients with an extensive variety of family law concerns. Our attorney provides knowledgeable and accurate legal advice, while developing personal relationships with clients to alleviate their worries. We understand the stress and complex emotions that are involved with legal proceedings and prioritize our clients' best interests. Our firm's emphasis is on the person, and we offer a confidential initial consultation, where clients meet with our attorney, not a secretary or paralegal. Our normal office hours are 8:30 am to 4:30 pm (closed 12-1 pm for lunch).

She promotes settlement negotiations and third-party mediations, believing that out-of-court resolutions are less stressful, less expensive, and more satisfying for all parties.
• Child Custody: Teresa understands that children are our most important asset. She wants to ensure that clients have a Permanent Parenting Plan that alleviates miscommunication between the parents and promotes the best interest of their children.
• Child Support: Teresa will look at the day-to-day allocation between the parties, each party's income, medical insurance cost, and daycare cost as required by law to determine the appropriate amount of child support for clients' children.
• Adoption: Teresa has represented clients in a variety of adoption cases, including Private Adoptions, Step-parent Adoptions, Grandparent Adoptions, and Re-Adoptions from foreign countries.
• Name Change: People often go through a divorce unsure of relinquishing their current name but return at a later date to do so. Others may grow up and find a level of connection with a step-parent or newfound biological parent and wish to pursue a legal name change. Teresa will file an action in court and have a valid court order to change clients' names.
• Dependency & Neglect Actions: Unfortunately, there are times that require immediate action by the Court to protect children. Sometimes, the parent or guardian is unable or unwilling to provide the necessary care and supervision for the child. Teresa has experience in Dependency & Neglect actions and will work diligently to prioritize clients' and their children's best interests.
