A Legacy of Artistic Development
Founded in 1996 by professional dancer and Broadway performer Terri Garcia-Lee, The Pennsylvania School of the Performing Arts (PSPA) has become Bucks County's leading center for dance and performing arts education. For over two decades, we've nurtured the talents of young dancers and performers, inspiring them to express themselves and explore their artistic potential.
Nurturing Young Talent
At PSPA, we believe in fostering a nurturing and supportive environment where young performers can thrive. Our experienced and passionate teachers guide students of all ages in exploring diverse styles of dance, voice, and acting. We offer extensive scholarships and opportunities for performance, ensuring every student has the chance to shine.
Diverse Learning Experiences
Our curriculum encompasses a wide range of dance styles, from classical ballet and contemporary ballet to jazz, tap, hip-hop, and modern. We also offer voice lessons, acting workshops, and specialized programs for young dancers. Our dedicated faculty, many of whom have graced the stages of Broadway and beyond, share their expertise and inspire our students.
More Than Just Dance
PSPA fosters a holistic approach to arts education. We believe in developing well-rounded performers, cultivating their physical, emotional, and artistic potential. Our curriculum includes proper warm-up and cool-down exercises, ensuring safe and effective training. We also offer nutrition workshops and performance psychology sessions to support our students' holistic growth.
