Situated on a sprawling 7-acre property with verdant gardens and spacious play areas, Rexpointe Kennels offers a unique blend of comfort, safety, and personalized attention.

Our History

Our story began with Alice and Edward Swiderski, a couple with a deep passion for dogs. Alice, a renowned breeder and exhibitor of parti-color Cocker Spaniels, sought more space to raise and nurture her beloved dogs. Edward, with his entrepreneurial spirit, transformed the property, which had previously served as a private hunting dog kennel, into a haven for pets. Together, they poured their hearts and souls into creating a boarding facility that prioritized the well-being and happiness of every animal in their care. Over the years, Rexpointe Kennels evolved into a thriving business, recognized for its dedication to providing top-tier care and personalized attention.

Boarding

Rexpointe Kennels prides itself on offering one of the most spacious and comfortable boarding facilities in the metro Detroit area. Our private indoor/outdoor kennels provide a secure and personalized space for each dog. We understand the importance of socialization and exercise, so every dog is taken out to their private outdoor area at least five times daily. In addition, we have over 5 acres of secure walking trails and several large play yards where dogs can run, play, and interact with their furry friends.

Grooming

Our professional dog grooming services are designed to pamper your pet from head to tail. Our experienced groomers are meticulous in their approach, ensuring that every detail is taken care of with precision and care. Whether your dog needs a bath, a haircut, or a full-service spa treatment, our expert groomers will leave them looking and feeling their best.

Daycare

Rexpointe Kennels offers a fun and stimulating daycare program that provides your dog with socialization, exercise, and mental enrichment while you're away. Our daycare hours are from 8am to 8pm, Monday through Thursday, ensuring that your dog has plenty of playtime and interaction with other furry friends.

Pet Taxi Services

We understand that getting your pet to and from our facility can sometimes be a logistical challenge. That's why we offer convenient pet taxi services to both our boarding and grooming clients. Simply let us know your schedule, and our friendly driver will safely transport your pet to and from our facility.
