Meet Our Founder

Devin Lane, the founder of Lightning Lessons, is a musician, songwriter, and producer from California. With over 15 years of performing and writing music, Devin has been teaching since 2007. His specialties include guitar, singing, and songwriting, and he also teaches piano, bass, drums, ukulele, and recording production.

Teaching Philosophy

As a teacher, I believe in creating a love of music that inspires students to find their passion and unique voice. I work with students' interests as motivation for technical training, guiding them toward their desired goals as part of a well-rounded musical education.
