Real Estate Club

We are proud to be a part of the oldest undergraduate program in Real Estate and the oldest graduate program in Real Estate in the United States. Our club is open to both graduate and undergraduate students, and we meet monthly to hear from real estate professionals and practitioners. Over the years, we have grown to be one of the largest student-run organizations on the University of Wisconsin-Madison campus.

Our Services

As a club, we offer a variety of services to our members. Our Speaker Series features guest speakers from the industry who discuss a wide range of topics, from debt markets and development to green building and institutional trends. Our members have the opportunity to engage with lecturers, guests, and alumni from across the globe, allowing for countless networking opportunities.

In addition to our Speaker Series, we also offer Local Market Tours each semester. Our members travel to Chicago, Milwaukee, or Minneapolis to meet local alumni, see new real estate projects, and connect with local firms. These market tours provide valuable real-world insight that cannot be taught in the classroom.

Every year, our members have the opportunity to travel with the Real Estate Club to various cities, such as New York City, Los Angeles, Washington D.C., Denver, and Austin, among others. These trips allow our members to learn about these markets, network with Wisconsin alumni, understand various real estate career paths, and build relationships with local professionals.

Our club also facilitates a Career Fair in the Fall and Spring semesters. Firm representatives can connect with our members and recruit for full-time positions and internships. Additionally, we offer an MBA and MSRE Mentorship program for undergraduate students. This program pairs undergraduate students with MBA and Masters of Real Estate mentors to help guide them with insight into the real estate industry, course selection, internship and career perspective, and a friendly face on campus.

Industry Recognition

In conjunction with the Graaskamp Center for Real Estate, we acknowledge industry professionals who have made a significant impact in the world of real estate through our Innovator Award. Past recipients include Goldie Wolfe Miller, Michael Toolis, David Brain, and Ryan Williams.
