About Ridings Design

Ridings Design is a brand building design studio in the Washington DC Metro Area that brings client hopes and ideas to existence. Since its inception in 1991, our studio has worked with several Metro Washington DC, Atlanta, GA, Dallas, TX, and NOW Austin TX businesses. Some as large as Mobil Oil Corporation and The Catholic University of America as well as small non-profits.

Scott Ridings, the founder and Creative Director, has worked as a contract graphic designer in the marketing department at Mobil Oil Corporation in Fairfax, VA. After leaving Mobil, he began working for small agencies and even more private clients, gleaning all that he could from the masters of successful businesses. He has conceptualized and produced logos, identity packages, ads for print and broadcast, trade shows, and environmental graphics, and other integrated graphics communication initiatives.

Scott has learned a great deal from some of the best in their field, continuously improving the quality he gives to his clients. Current clients are branching into retail packaging, videos, even more, logo and brand identity work, and now SEO and web-related marketing.
