Lake Champlain Yacht Club (LCYC), established in 1887, has been a vibrant hub for boating and sailing enthusiasts in Shelburne, Vermont for over 130 years. Nestled in a sheltered cove on the southwest shore of Shelburne Bay, our club fosters a passionate community of boat lovers, welcoming both seasoned sailors and casual cruisers.

Empowering Junior Sailors

Recognizing the importance of fostering future generations of sailors, LCYC boasts a thriving junior sailing program for children ages 8-17. Experienced instructors guide young sailors through their journey, teaching them essential skills in Optimist prams and Flying Junior dinghies.
