In addition to our home buyer inspection services, we also offer homeowner's check-up inspections. Before your 12-month builder's warranty expires, we recommend having your home inspected for any construction defects, items that may not be functioning properly, or any other issues that may be covered by the builder's warranty.

Our Staff

Clint Simon, owner and senior building consultant, has over twenty-five years of experience in the electro-mechanical field. Clint has been inspecting homes since 1999 and has achieved the highest certification from the state of Texas as a professional home inspector. He is qualified to inspect all areas of a property, including structural, mechanical, and electrical systems. Clint enjoys meeting with homeowners and home buyers and educating them on the condition of their home.

Clayton Maples is a licensed home inspector with Sherlock Spec Inspections. Clayton has extensive experience in the construction industry, having worked as a superintendent for a custom home builder. Clayton's expertise in construction and his attention to detail make him an invaluable member of the Sherlock Spec team.

Service Area

Sherlock Spec Home Inspections offers service to the Greater Houston metro area, including the communities of Conroe, The Woodlands, New Caney, Porter, Spring, Kingwood, Huffman, Pearland, Pasadena, Sugarland, and Katy. Our office hours are Monday through Friday, 9 am to 5 pm. We are committed to providing our clients with flexible service hours to accommodate their schedules.
