A Family Tradition

DiVieste's Banquet Centre was born from the vision of brothers Joseph (Joe) and Bartolomeo (Bart) DiVieste in 1975. Both brothers had established successful careers in the restaurant industry, often catering events at various churches, clubs, and social halls throughout the area. They recognized a growing need for a dedicated banquet facility, one that offered ample space and elegance for special occasions. Fueled by their entrepreneurial spirit and passion for providing exceptional dining experiences, Joe and Bart set out to create their dream.

From Humble Beginnings to Lasting Legacy

On New Year's Eve of 1975, DiVieste's Banquet Centre opened its doors, showcasing the impressive Candlelight Room to the community. This magnificent space, boasting a large 41 x 40 dance floor, ornate Spanish chandeliers, and seating for up to 600 guests, could also be divided into two smaller rooms for more intimate gatherings. Within a few short years, DiVieste's expanded its capacity even further with the addition of the Fireplace Room in 1979, catering to the increasing demand for banquet space.

Over the ensuing decades, DiVieste's Banquet Centre has witnessed a myriad of celebrations: weddings, banquets, anniversaries, graduation parties, corporate events, and countless other milestones. The DiVieste family has embraced each passing year with open arms, adapting to ever-evolving trends and preferences while remaining steadfast in their commitment to providing exceptional service and affordability.

Family at the Heart of It All

Today, the torch is carried by Joseph M. DiVieste, Joe's son, who oversees the family business alongside his son, Joey, and wife, Denise. Bart retired in 2012 but his legacy lives on within the walls of DiVieste's. Joe, his brother, worked tirelessly until his passing in 2019, ensuring that the DiVieste tradition of excellence continued.

The entire DiVieste family embodies the company's motto: "DiVieste's, Where We Treat You Like Family."
