Machias Valley Christian School is a Christ-centered learning community that was founded on a Biblical worldview, marked by excellence, and committed to developing the whole student for success in secondary education. Our mission is to unleash a passion for learning and service where teachers lead by example and train students to positively impact the world.

Our History

Our journey began in September 1981, when a group of parents, including the Hendersons and Buzas, recognized the need for a school that integrated the Bible into the curriculum. With no other Christian school in the Machias area, they took it upon themselves to establish a place where students could receive a Christ-centered education.
