Sisu Builders, LLC was established in 2011 by Josh Jipson, a seasoned residential and commercial construction expert with over a decade of experience in Minneapolis, Grand Marais, McMurdo Station, Antarctica, and his hometown, Lakeside, Wisconsin. The company is committed to offering a comprehensive range of construction and design services across northern Wisconsin and Minnesota, from Ashland to Brainerd, Minneapolis, and Ontario. Sisu is a Finnish concept that represents strength of will, spirit, and courage in the face of adversity, and the name was chosen as a tribute to Josh's Finnish grandmother as well as a reminder of the values he wants the company to embody.
