Eisner Pediatric & Family Medical

At the Southside Coalition of Community Health Centers, we are a non-profit organization dedicated to sustaining, coordinating, and improving healthcare access and delivery to the impoverished and vulnerable community members of South Los Angeles. Our mission is to provide high-quality healthcare services to those who need it most, focusing on strengthening access to primary and preventive care, health promotion, and health education, with the ultimate goal of eliminating health disparities.

Our Story

It all began with a conversation in 2003 between CEOs of community health centers serving South Los Angeles. They came together to discuss the unique challenges they faced as safety net providers, including high rates of chronic diseases and preventable hospitalizations, shortages of primary care and specialty care providers, long wait times for appointments, and violence in their neighborhoods. They quickly recognized the value of raising a unified voice for the health care needs of South Los Angeles and soon formed a committed coalition.

Our Services

We offer a wide range of healthcare services, including primary and preventive care, health promotion, and health education. Our member health centers provide comprehensive care to patients of all ages, including pediatrics, adult medicine, and geriatrics. We also offer specialty care services, such as dental, vision, and mental health care. Our healthcare providers are dedicated to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care that addresses the unique needs of each patient.

Our Members

Our coalition is comprised of seven Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) that serve the South Los Angeles community. Our member health centers include Central City Community Health Center Inc., Eisner Health, South Central Family Health Center, St. John's Community Health, To Help Everyone Health and Wellness Centers, UMMA Community Clinic, Venice Family Clinic, and Watts Healthcare Programs. Each of our member health centers is committed to providing high-quality healthcare services to the community.

Our Vision

Through our efforts, we envision a South Los Angeles community with improved healthcare that is networked to build capacity, focused on strengthening access to primary and preventive care, health promotion, and health education, and eliminates health disparities. We are dedicated to improving the health and well-being of our community and ensuring that everyone has access to high-quality healthcare services.
