My name is Alyson Giardini, and I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist passionate about helping individuals, couples, and families reach their full potential. I believe in the power of therapy to foster positive change, build resilience, and strengthen relationships.

My Approach to Therapy

I utilize a client-centered, humanistic approach to therapy, drawing on evidence-based theories and techniques such as object relations, family systems, and psychodynamic theory. I also integrate Somatic and Body-Centered approaches as well as Narrative traditions to create a holistic and personalized therapeutic experience.

My Background and Qualifications

I hold two master's degrees: one in Counseling Psychology from New College of California with a focus on Feminist Psychology and Social Justice, and another in Anthropology from Stanford University with a focus on cross-cultural adaptation and identity formation.
