Our Services

We offer a range of cognitive-behavioral therapy modalities to address various mental health concerns, including depression, anxiety, phobias, ADHD, learning disabilities, bipolar disorder, anger control problems, and marital discord. Our clinical services include individual counseling and therapy, family counseling and therapy, parent training, couples/marital therapy, psychoeducational testing for learning disabilities and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), adult ADHD assessment, and bariatric evaluations. We serve populations of all ages, from children as young as five to geriatrics.

Our History

South Shore Psychological Care, P.C. has been providing psychological care and therapy to individuals, families, and couples since 2010. Our clinical director, Dr. Peter D'Elena, has been a practicing psychologist for over twenty years, with extensive experience working in schools and with various clinical populations. He earned his doctoral degree from Saint John's University and is a New York State licensed psychologist.

Our Commitment

We are committed to providing accessible and affordable mental health services to our patients. We accept a range of insurance plans, Medicare, and work on a sliding scale for out-of-pocket paying patients. We believe that everyone deserves access to quality mental health care, and we are dedicated to making that a reality.
