History of Acupuncture

Acupuncture is a main component of Traditional Chinese Medicine, with more than 3000 years of history. Acupuncture points and the distribution of meridians have been documented throughout history. The principles of acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine were first documented in "Huang Di Nei Jing" (200BC), considered the bible of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Over time, books such as "Ming Tang Jing" (publishing date unknown) and "Zhen Jiu Jia Yi Jing" (282AD) detailed the 349 acupuncture points and their functions. In modern times, acupuncture is widely practiced in China in almost every hospital, used as monotherapy or complementary therapy to treat various diseases.

At the Acupuncture Medicine Center, we are committed to providing our patients with the best possible care using the principles of traditional Chinese medicine. Our team is dedicated to helping individuals achieve optimal health and wellness through the practice of acupuncture and herbal medicine.
