Blue Ridge Driving School

At Blue Ridge Driving School, the goal of owners Gary and Linda Hutson is to provide each student with the necessary information and techniques to be safe, responsible drivers. We provide a friendly classroom environment that meets the needs of each student's learning style, teaching them how to communicate effectively in a friendly classroom atmosphere as well as social settings. At Blue Ridge Driving School, we strive to be the best driving school in Augusta County, Va. Our focus at BRDS is to recognize each student's strengths and to access the positive in each one. We concentrate on each student individually and provide them with the most up-to-date learning materials as well as educating them on the dangers of alcohol, texting, and aggressive driving behaviors which are the leading causes of fatalities on our roadways. We provide each student with the proper training to obtain their driver's license and teach them how to drive a vehicle safely.

Drivers Education

Drivers Education at Blue Ridge Driving School includes a comprehensive 36 hours classroom and 14 hours behind-the-wheel training for just $450. We also offer a 36 hours classroom only course for $250 and a 7 sessions behind-the-wheel training for $300. Additionally, we have a new class for students who have failed their DMV test three times, priced at $150. All our classes are designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills needed to become safe and responsible drivers.

Driver Improvement

Our Driver Improvement Classes are designed for those who have received tickets or violations. These classes are 8 hours long and include materials furnished. The price is $75 if pre-paid and $85 for walk-ins. These classes aim to educate students on the importance of defensive driving and how to avoid common driving mistakes.

Schedule

We offer a variety of classes throughout the month. Our schedule includes driver education classes, driver improvement classes, and special classes for those who have failed their DMV test three times. We believe in providing flexible scheduling options to accommodate our students' needs.
