Our Story

Our journey began in 2009 when Tyler and Alissa, the founders, dreamed of opening a locally-owned specialty coffee shop in Columbus, Indiana. After identifying the perfect location and successfully raising funds through crowdfunding, Lucabe Coffee Co. was born. The name Lucabe is a combination of the founders' three children's names - Lucas, Calvin, and Bella - symbolizing the importance of family and community.

That's why we've included a kids' play space in our cafe, allowing parents to relax while their little ones have fun.
