Company History

Good Sounds was founded in 1980 by Mitch Goodz, who recognized a void in the high-end home building market. He saw that custom homes in Orange County, such as those in Newport Beach, Laguna Beach, and Dana Point, as well as those in the Coachella Valley cities of La Quinta and Palm Springs, lacked entertainment systems.

Our goal was to educate homeowners and contractors that their homes were missing a key component - music. Instead of figuring out where to place speakers and run wires after the home was built, we encouraged designing the entertainment system into the construction of the home. This was the essence of Good Sounds.

Over the years, we have expanded our services to include the installation of surround sound technology, home automation systems, and smart home technologies. We continue to be a technical innovator in residential AV, providing world-class audiovisual for discerning homeowners.
