Our History

Plainfield Eye Care was founded in 1961 by Dr. Tom Maloney. Dr. Cory Shaffer joined as a partner in 1976, and together they built the foundation of our practice. In 2012, Dr. Beth Groninger purchased the practice from Dr. Shaffer and became the full owner. Our commitment to quality and patient care has remained unwavering, with each new generation of doctors and staff members contributing to our growth and development.
