Founded in 2013 by ISA certified arborist, Michael Powell, our mission is to provide the Hudson Valley community with top-notch tree care services that are both science-based and eco-friendly. Our team of experienced professionals is dedicated to enhancing the natural beauty of your property while ensuring the health and safety of your trees.

Owner and Arborist Mike Powell has always had a deep appreciation for the outdoors. With a Bachelor of Science in Geography from Appalachian State University, Mike began his career as a wildland firefighter with the National Park Service in California. It was here that his passion for tree work and environmentally friendly practices truly took root. After several years of working in the tree service industry, Mike founded Woodworks Tree Service, driven by his personal philosophy of sustainable and eco-friendly practices.
