The Weaverville Hotel and Emporium, established in 1861, has been a mainstay of hospitality and commerce in the historic town of Weaverville, California. Originally built in 1861, the hotel was meticulously restored in 1880 after a devastating fire, maintaining its original high ceilings, wood floors, and charming architectural elements. The hotel's building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, reflecting its importance in the town's rich history.

Our hotel, located within a three-block radius, is neighbors with various attractions, including a gym (guests have gym privileges), a selection of good restaurants, a local brewery, a confectionery and ice cream shop, a 1939 movie theatre, several art galleries, the historic Chinese Joss House, and the Jake Jackson Museum and Blacksmith. On top of that, visitors can enjoy several interesting shops and our very own Emporium, featuring fine chocolates, American Indian jewelry, Amber jewelry, sterling silver jewelry from all over the world, a great selection of women's clothing, and other fantastic gift ideas.

Smoke-Free Environment and Amenities

Weaverville Hotel and Emporium aims to provide a comfortable and clean environment for all guests. The hotel building is a smoke-free establishment; however, we have designated outdoor areas along the side of the building for those who wish to smoke. We kindly ask guests to respect our smoke-free policy when inside the hotel.

Additionally, we offer a cozy lounge area equipped with a small T.V. for guest use, as well as a telephone booth for complimentary access at the top of the stairs. There is no in-room T.V. in any of our rooms, except for Room 1, the LaGrange, which offers a kitchenette and a TV. Our rooms are Wi-Fi enabled, allowing you to stay connected at your convenience.

Comfortable Rooms and Suites

Our rooms are named after Trinity County gold mines and elegantly furnished with antique Victorian-era decor. Each room offers private showers, air conditioning, heaters, ceiling fans, hairdryers, and coffee makers. Rooms 1 through 6 provide a microwave and a refrigerator with a limited amount of ice. A shared store-room, accessible across from Room 2, houses a refrigerator with ice available for all guests to use.
